Inspired by Maeshowe, this piece includes key elements from the site such as the alignment mark running to the heart of the piece to show the Sun’s pathway during the Winter Solstice. Created with an unusual fastening to represent the Barnhouse Stone and an engraved ring relating to the calendar months.
